Starting from Scratch

The chocolate puddle cake recipe was probably the only redeeming aspect of this book. I read it on the plane on the way home. If I wasn't trapped in the air and not thrilled with my other book, I would not have finished this. I did not like that the main character referred to her dead mom as Vivian. I also did not like the formality of her referring to her dad as Father. The majority of the characters were poorly developed.
